When it gets hot, go Lyte. The all-new FR-C Pro Lyte is a “team issue” bib short in paneling, fabric, and style with a total weight of just 153 grams. The extremely lightweight and breathable fabric is 110 grams vs 220 for the non-Lyte FR-C Pro bib fabric. Made to beat the heat on the hottest days, the main fabric of the short has micro “perforations” built into the material, not perforated or made by removing fabric after construction but an engineered open mesh-like structure. Aerodynamic and ergonomic leg paneling wraps the legs maximizing compression and fit. The material at the seat area is a woven fabric for durability. A thermo welded finish at the legs stays in place and extends the lightweight fabric down to the hem. Perforated bib straps are lightweight and breathable with high stretchability for comfort in and out of the riding position. The bib upper is a new double mesh construction creating a lightweight and durable finish at the back with very little vertical stretch to keep the short and chamois in place.
