The P1S412 is a 12" 4-Ohm SVC subwoofer with 150 Watts RMS (300 Watts max) power handling, a fine addition to any system.

Aluminum Voice Coil Former
Two things generally happen when voice coils heat-up.
- They can generate heat close to the melt-down temp of their adhesive bonds which leads to eventual failure.
- Voice coil DC resistance increases and reduces SPL output.
Solution... Rockford Fosgate subwoofers use aluminum formers or voice coils for their excellent heat dissipation and SPL capabilities unlike many other plastic substitutes.
